Not posted anything here for a while as I’ve hardly been home. We went back camping in our old tent, (photos in gallery) and had a bad time as it was blowing a gale and chucking it down and the wind blew the back of the tent off the pegs and against one of the bedrooms so the water seeped through and onto the bed and bedding. Well we gave the kids the dry bedroom and after a night sleeping on 4″ of airbed to stay dry we got up in the morning and packed up our stuff and left, we decided the tent was no good :(

After thinking that that was the end of that we got an offer from a family member we couldn’t resist (hereby to be known as GPU, Generous Parental Unit, to save embarrassment although they obviously know who they are :) ) The offer was to help pay for a caravan, well it did take a little bit of considering, specially as neither Bev or myself can drive, and we decided that the kids enjoyed themselves so much it was worth getting it to just stay and use in the field when we wanted. So after discussing with GPU we got it and stuck it in the field last Thursday and that’s where we’ve been ever since :D

The only reason we have returned is, umm, so we can go on holiday. Leaving tomorrow for some fun in Berwick, where my sisters and their family will also be. Just let my kids try and tell me they had nothing to do through their summer holidays I tell you!!! :D
