Maybe I should rename my blog, or find something else to talk about (nah!) Probably last comment for a while about my fish anyway, bought some more today and won’t be buying any more as I think we now have enough. :) Bev went out and came back with 6 Neon Tetras (only bought 5 but one sneaked in so we got it free, ooh saved 85p) and a small catfish, lovely looking things they are. Water in the tank is now crystal clear, fish are swimming around happily and the kids love it. :)
So we now have
- 1 x Angel Fish
- 3 x Guppies (all male, no female, we hope for now)
- 6 x Neon Tetra
- 1 x Small Catfish
Mind you, we are already on the lookout for a larger tank so we can expand. :)

Do you know which type your small catfish is? We got a hypostomus punctatus at about an inch and a half long, years later it had outlived everything else and was (no exaggeration) 18 inches long.

No idea what type the catfish is, Bev forgot to write down the name when she bought it and had forgotten the name by the time she got home. May be planning a visit to the Aquatic Centre this weekend so will try and find the name then. I had heard they grow fast, was hoping to find a dwarf variety that only grow to 5 inches or so, saw a few online but Bev got this one before I could investigate further :)
