Well, maybe not a squishy but we got some fish today. Went out in the blizzard this morning and walked miles to the garden centre to go look at fish. Spoke with the guy in the aquatic centre and told him about our tank etc. and he said it sounded like we’d done everything we should and that if we really wanted we could get the fish today but only a couple. Also said that if we took a sample of our tank water down next time we go he will test it and let us know what we need to buy to put in it, actually told us to put back all the tests and ph stuff we had in our hands and to wait to see which we actually needed before buying, very nice of him. :)

We ended up buying 3 Guppies and 1 Angel Fish, they seem to be happy enough in the tank, are moving around freely enough but I suppose the test is if they are still there like that tomorrow morning :D

As mentioned above the weather was horrible again today, snow, winds and freezing cold. Combined they do nothing for you, wind was blowing towards us as we walked so could hardly see a thing, luckily we got a lift back from my mam once we had the fish or else we’d have been serving frozen fish by the time we got home. :) Bad weather means I still haven’t fixed my fencing or put up a cover on the alleyway and Bev goes back to work on Tuesday, looks like we’ll have to leave it a bit longer :(
